Located behind the incredible cream-coloured beach of the same name, Hotel Breiðavík has a bit of a lock on the area's accommodation market. Prices are stiff for what is offered: simple rooms, sleeping-bag accommodation (16,500kr) and camping. But the setting is sublime, and it sure is nice to overnight on the peninsula. Facilities include a laundry, restaurant, guest kitchen and barbecue.
