Parador de Úbeda

Andalucía

One of Spain's original paradors (opened in 1930), this plush hotel occupies a historic monument, the Palacio del Deán Ortega, on the wonderful Plaza Vázquez de Molina. It has been comfortably modernised in period style and the rooms and common areas are appropriately luxurious. The best rooms have their own little garden patios. Breakfast costs €17.
