Nakar Khoran Tourist Hotel

Iran

In a woodland setting behind the garden of the appealing Telar teahouse (open from 3pm), the Tourist Hotel's main building has renovated rooms that are better than you'd imagine from the dowdy 1970s facade. The tight-packed pastel cubes of bungalows are slightly cheaper but in need of some refreshing.

It's 200m beyond the Nahar Khoran roundabout in the direction of Ziyarat village, 9km from central Gorgan. Wi-fi in main building only.
