Karavansaray Hotel

Top choice in Azerbaijan

Staying in this converted genuine caravanserai is justification enough to visit Şəki. Rooms have arched brickwork ceilings and while they’re certainly not luxurious, all have sitting areas and Western toilets in the humorously dated little bathrooms.

Booking ahead can be wise, especially if you want a single room, of which there are only two. Or ask the tourist office to make reservations on your behalf.
