CBT Homestay Program

Northwestern Cambodia

Thanks to the homestay project run by the CBT (Community-Based Tourism) Office, it’s possible to stay in Banteay Chhmar and three nearby hamlets. Rooms are in private homes and come with mosquito nets, fans that run when there’s 24-hour electricity, and downstairs bathrooms. Part of the income goes into a community development fund. Book at least one day in advance.

If you're with a group of seven of more, book at least a month ahead.
