This small museum has a fine collection of intricate stone sculptures from the adjacent site and other pieces from across the state, most dating from the 3rd century BC until the12th century AD. In the courtyard at the rear there's a model of the original stupa, a wonderful lintel depicting the Buddha's first sermon and part of a gateway that gives you an idea of the monument's massive scale.
