One of Delhi's most iconic dining destination, House of Ming, has been serving its discerning guests for 43 years. As the establishment goes for renovation, it invites its patrons to relish the celebrated flavors from across decades, including dishes that had been a part of the first-ever menu.
Since its inception in 1978, the legendary House of Ming at Taj Mahal, New Delhi has presented timeless traditions, hallmark hospitality and culinary excellence and as the hotel embarks on the next phase of re-imagining its House of Ming is also set to undergo a transformation. “This iconic restaurant will be undergoing renovations, starting 16th July. We wish to celebrate 43 years of this glorious culinary destination this month and thank our guests for their continued patronage.” said Arun Sundararaj, Executive Chef- Taj Mahal, New Delhi.
The Chinese cuisine a mix of the four distinctive regions in China-Northern or Mandarin, Eastern coastal region identified by Shanghai, Western region of Sichuan, and the southern Chinese region of Canton. It is the cooking styles of Canton and Sichuan that the chefs at House of Ming have adopted in their repertoire. While the Sichuan style offers deliciously hot and spicy fare, the Canton cuisine pampers the palates of those who prefer subtle and light food. Despite catering to divergent tastes across generations, House of Ming has consistently delighted its patrons and remains one of the most socially prominent places to dine in.
To celebrate the legacy the restaurant is inviting guests and patrons to partake A Taste of Legacy and to rewind and relive the erstwhile favourites and signature dishes of the restaurant. Until the new avatar is unveiled House Of Ming will operate from the lower lobby of the hotel. Taste of Legacy promotions are on till 31st July 2021.
