Glenloch Tea Estate

Around 27km north of Nuwara Eliya, this factory offers informative tours explaining cultivation, types of tea, and the drying and packing processes. There's some fine old machinery from the UK still in use. Unlike in many tea factories, photography is allowed here. There's a large cafe and gift shop selling everything and anything tea related as well as Ayurveda items.
