Museo de Valltorta

This informative museum, 2km from Tirig (10km southwest of Sant Mateu), presents a detailed overview of prehistoric art and El Maestrazgo’s World Heritage ensemble of rock paintings. There's a reproduction of the most interesting piece – a hunting scene – and info in various languages available. From here, free guided walks to the painting sites leave a couple of times daily.
