Regent on Broadway

Palmerston North

This theatre was Palmerston North's pride and joy when it opened in 1930, but it closed in the early '90s following a lengthy decline. The council stepped in and contributed $10 million to the restoration, and the community raised $1.7 million (an average of $25 for every person in the city). Check the website for musicals, plays, ballet and beyond.
