Hortobágyi Csárda

This is Hungary’s most celebrated roadside inn, built at the end of the 18th century. Sit back and admire the Hortobágy kitsch taking up every place on the walls; Gypsy violinists often play as you tuck into your game dishes or bogrács gulyás (beef soup served in a small kettle; 1340Ft). Don’t miss the famous Hortobágyi palacsinta (pancakes; 1290Ft) as an appetiser.
