Universally known as D-bah (and, officially, just over the Queensland–NSW border), Duranbah point and the peaky beach break are good for those who like their waves technical and punchy. Currumbin Alley, a point break at the mouth of Currumbin Creek, creates a walling wave that's popular with longboarders.
