This excellent initiative runs 'Cooking & Culture in Valletta' workshops showcasing how the cuisine of the island nation has been impacted by the surrounding Mediterranean Sea. Hosted by a professional chef, the three-hour cooking courses are definitely hands-on, and much of the produce comes from sustainable farms and fisheries. Meals are shared over a bottle of wine at the conclusion.
