The well-maintained Tripura State Tribal Museum has an impressive display of tribal costumes, handicrafts, instruments, utensils and other objects from Tripura's 19 tribal cultures (about one-third of the state's population). With the aid of videos and a diorama it provides useful insight into Tripura's ethnic matrix and is definitely worth a visit.
