Mahnmal am Breitscheidplatz

A simple golden crack running down a set of steps leading up to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church commemorates the victims of the terror attack of 19 December 2016 when a man drove a truck into the crowd at the Christmas market held around the church. The rampage left 13 people dead and scores injured. The names of the dead are chiselled into the risers of the steps.
