This quiet temple up against Kao Ta Kra Thong mountain, 15km east of the city, is known for its bat cave. Every night shortly before sunset it disgorges hundreds of thousands of bats heading out for their nocturnal hunt. The cave is next to the stupa at the first parking area, outside the temple's main grounds.
