Templo da Veracruz

Galicia

The extraordinary Templo da Veracruz rises like some Disneyesque fantasy amid the grey apartment blocks of O Carballiño. It resembles a great Gothic cathedral but was actually built in the 1940s and 50s, in local stone to designs of Galician architect Antonio Palacios.
