Constructed in 1315, this small, probably private or family synagogue is one of the few surviving testaments to the Jewish presence in medieval Andalucía, though it hasn't been used as a place of worship since the expulsion of Jews in 1492. Its light-filled main hall, accessed through a small courtyard, is decorated with extravagant stucco work that includes Hebrew inscriptions and intricate Mudéjar star and plant motifs. Upstairs, the Galería de Mujeres was reserved for women.
