LorenzoPeg

The building of the Scuola Dalmata dei Santi Giorgio e Trifone that hosts inside the paintings of Carpaccio

This 15th-century Dalmatian religious-confraternity house is dedicated to favorite Slavic saints George, Tryphon and Jerome. It was one of the few schools not to be supressed by Napoleon. The saints' lives are captured with precision and glowing early-Renaissance grace by 15th-century master Vittore Carpaccio.
