Middle Caicos Ocean Hole

Thought to be the largest (but not deepest) yet discovered, this 76m-deep, 600m-wide blue hole is twice as wide as the more renowned Blue Hole off Belize and a paradise for hammerhead sharks. Divers wishing to meet them will need to charter a flat-bottomed boat, as it's bang in the middle of the shallows off Middle Caicos' southern shore.
