Archaeological Museum

The old British colonial administration building to the east of the Mahavihara area houses the Archaeological Museum (adult/child Rs 600/300) and is worth popping into for its interesting collection of finds from across Anuradhapura. Exhibits include relic caskets and photos of Anuradhapura's massive stupas before renovation, covered in vines and foliage. It's open daily 9am to 4pm.
