Museo de Sitio Xihuacan

Central Pacific Coast

Near the archaeological site of Xihuacan, a museum houses three rooms full of Spanish-language displays, which place the local archaeological finds in a broader historical context. A recent find on display is a stone carved with a glyph of the name of the town in the late pre-Hispanic era: Xihuacan.

Local guide Adán Velez found many of the artifacts on display in the museum.
