Graphite Mine

Český Krumlov

Don a hard hat and ride a clanking electric wagon through 2km of underground workings in Czechia's last graphite mine, only recently abandoned. Tours are available in English and German or, for a lower admission fee (150Kč) in Czech with a text handout in your own language. The mine is signposted 1.5km northwest of the town centre.
