A small state-run museum dedicated to Luiz Gonzaga, the father of baião, a traditional music from the sertão (the interior of the Northeast). It has been overshadowed by the impressive Museu Cais do Sertão, which is also partially dedicated to Gonzaga, and no longer gets many visitors. It has basic Portuguese language displays on his origins in the interior of the state and his influence on Brazilian music.
