About Joana
Born and raised in Lisbon, Joana has had a thirst for traveling ever since her parents took her on her first flight abroad to Paris. These days, she works as a travel writer and unofficial craft beer taster splitting her time between the Portuguese capital and the semi-tropical island of Madeira. She enjoys finding the hidden stories behind places and connecting with local artisans wherever she goes, preferably with a craft beer in hand.
