If you'd like to make their acquaintance, cage-less shark dives are on offer (from $349). Corals and disco-lit jellyfish add Day-Glo color, and kids love the short boat ride through the gentoo and king penguin enclosure. The star attraction, a dugong named Pig, was rescued after washing up as a youngster on a Queensland beach. Attempts to return him to the wild failed, so he found a home at Sea Life.
Needless to say, kids love this place; arrive early to beat the crowds. It's cheaper to book online, and there are various combo deals with other attractions run by the same company, including the adjacent zoo and Madame Tussauds.
