There's nothing nicer than singing along to your favourite tunes on a road trip, but finding the perfect soundtrack to your travels can be tricky. Help is at hand from audio streaming platform Spotify, which has launched a feature called Soundtrack your Ride.

It generates a playlist for you based on your Spotify history and your answers to a few questions. You start by using the Google Maps tool or time selector to select the length and route of your car journey, and then take a short quiz consisting of five questions. Spotify then uses your listening habits and quiz choices to put together a soundtrack for the length of your ride.

The questions it asks includes who you're travelling with - solo, kids, friends, pet or partner - the kind of a car you drive and your favourite genre for the road.  You also select your "drive vibe," with the options including "mellow," "high-energy" and "love-sick." It also asks you to select your ultimate driving song from one of six choices. These include "Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen, “Body Like a Back Road” by Sam Hunt, “A Thousand Miles” by Vanessa Carlton, “Sucker” by the Jonas Brothers, “Life is a Highway” by Rascal Flatts and “Ridin’ Solo” by Jason Derulo.
