Broad Haven South

A mile southeast of Bosherston village, this magnificent golden crescent of beach is backed by sand dunes and framed by gray limestone cliffs and pointed sea stacks. Most spectacular of all is Church Rock, so named because it resembles a submerged church at high tide. The beach was formed in the 1860s by the erection of the dam that created the Bosherston Lily Ponds.
