Blorenge

On the southeastern cusp of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the 561m Blorenge has tremendous views of the Usk Valley, Black Mountains and Severn Estuary on cloudless days. The rounded summit is brushed with heathery moorland and the trail path can get boggy when wet. At the top, look out for the remains of a Bronze Age burial chamber. A 4-mile, two-hour circular hike of the peak begins at the Keeper's Pond on the B426, 5 miles south of Abergavenny.
