Midland Army Air Field Museum

Panhandle Plains

What had been the home of the Commemorative Air Force, the largest collection of flying historic military aircraft in the US, has been renamed. The famous collection of aircraft has decamped to Dallas for the eventual opening of a new museum there. What's left is a museum with displays in the early stages of development that will cover the huge amount of pilot training that happened in Midland during WWII. Check for progress.
