East Hampton Marine Museum

One of your last outposts before you drive on to Montauk, this small museum dedicated to the fishing and whaling industries is more interesting than its counterpart in Sag Harbor, full of old harpoons, boats half the size of their prey, shipwrecked cannons and beautiful exhibitions, including a B&W photographic tribute to the local fishers and their families and watercolors by Claus Hoie.
