Arroyo Colorado

Rio Grande Valley

Merging two separately owned tracts of conservation land into a single 95-acre expanse, this reserve surrounding the namesake arroyo is part of the World Birding Center network. It provides breeding grounds and resting points for endemic and migratory species, many of which visitors can hope to see from the park's bird blinds and hike/bike trails. It's due south of the airport.
