On the fishing and hunting grounds of the Timucuan Native Americans, the landscaped grounds here were once owned by Owen and Louise Young and have been converted into a small, gorgeous park that's a lovely spot for a picnic; you can also cycle or hike along the 1.7-mile trail loop. The experience is more manicured gardens than wilderness, but watch for sea turtles and manatees in the water. Otherwise, explore the camellia- and bird-of-paradise-filled gardens.
