Şerafettin Cami

Konya

This stately mosque, with its huge dome and intricately carved minber (pulpit), dates from the 14th century, but is built on the site of an earlier 12th-century mosque that was bequeathed to the city by Sufi scholar Sheikh Şerafettin.
