Grimeton Radio Station

Southwestern Sweden

Built in the 1920s and now on the Unesco World Heritage List, Grimeton Radio Station is a monument to early technological advances. Once part of the interwar transatlantic communication network, it’s now the world’s only surviving long-wave radio station. The site is about 10km east of Varberg and is open in conjunction with tours during summer.
