Romakloster

Gotland

Heading southeast from Visby on Rte 143, 6km southwest of the town Dalhem on your way to Ljugarn, pull over to check out this 12th-century Cistercian monastery ruin, a kilometre from the main road. Summer theatre performances here cost around 250kr – tickets available from Gotlands Turistbyrå. The 18th-century manor house is also impressive.
