Wat Klang

This old riverside temple, founded in 1793 around the same time as the establishment of the city, has a pair of noteworthy buildings. Most eye-catching is a large modern wooden wí·hăhn built to house the Pra Bot Buddha, one of Ubon's holiest. The adjacent bòht has a unique modern design that despite containing most of the typical Thai traits, does not feel in any way like a Thai temple building.
