St Cenydd's Church

Local hermit Cenydd (pronounced Kenneth) lends his name to both the village and this Norman church, topped with a blunt stone tower. Inside there's a 12th-century limestone effigy of a local knight and a 9th-century stone carved with Celtic knot patterns, traditionally believed to be the saint's gravestone.
