Extensively damaged in 2018 when an out-of-control Maltese-flagged tanker crashed into it, this 18th-century yalı just north of Anadolu Hisarı was built for Salih Efendi, a graduate of the first medical school in the Ottoman Empire during the reign of Sultan Mahmut II and the head physician for three sultans.
