Blundell's Cottage

This small workers cottage was built in 1860 from local stone and is the oldest surviving building of its kind in Canberra. When it was built, the cottage was surrounded by farmland and overlooked the Molonglo River, and it has been preserved by the National Trust as a reminder of the city's recent past. The cottage is only open for a few hours on Saturdays, but you can still admire it from the outside at other times.
