A half-hour's walk from Butia Lodge, this village is notable for its particularly splendid yam house – the tallest on the island, painted in the traditional white, red and black and lavishly decorated with strings of large cowrie shells. There's also a large magic stone with a face carved into it, the presence of which brings prosperity to the village.
