With its mix of ancient Greek and naval motifs, the beautiful chapel in the Queen Mary Building is decorated in an elaborate rococo style with lots of trompe l'oeil details. The eastern end of the chapel is dominated by the Preservation of St Paul after Shipwreck at Malta painting by the 18th-century American artist Benjamin West. The chapel is famed for its excellent acoustics and regularly hosts concerts; check the Old Royal Naval College's website for details.
