Beefeater, established in 1863, is the oldest gin distillers still producing in London. The distillery moved to its present address in 1958 and in 2014 opened a museum and tour facility. Exhibits take you from the gin craze of the 18th century to the cocktails and prohibition of the 1920s and '30s. A short talk on the production process, in the shadow of the distillery's enormous stills, concludes with an expertly poured gin and tonic. Hour-long tours run half hourly until 5pm.
