Your guide will take you on a leisurely 2-hour kayaking tour of Brentwood Bay and Tod Inlet, where you can enjoy the stunning scenery as you learn about the area and local wildlife. Learn some paddling tips from your guide you can use during the tour and in the future.
Afterwards, travel to the nearby, world-renowned Butchart Gardens. There explore the beautiful, themed gardens at your own pace. Stop for a meal or coffee and treats at their Blue Poppy Restaurant or Coffee Shop (own expense), and be sure to check out their Seed and gift store.

You will receive an admission voucher for the popular Victoria Butterfly Gardens, where you can explore the indoor tropical jungle. Admission vouchers can be picked up after your kayak tour in our main office.
Victoria Butterfly Gardens offers a unique opportunity for people of all ages to experience the beauty and curiosity of a tropical jungle up close. As you wander through our tropical jungle, we want you to meet our family. With surprises at every turn, you’ll encounter poison dart frogs, tortoises, large iguanas, flamingos, tropical ducks, free flying tropical birds and more. We house a large variety of tropical fish swimming in our serene pond and stream circulated by a stunning waterfall. Thousands of tropical butterflies (up to 70 species) fly through our large facilities the size of almost 3 basketball courts. Stroll through and marvel at our lush gardens including tropical flowers, carnivorous plants and fruits of the world.
