Follow the history of the potato from ancient Inca grave sites to Belgian fryers. The entry fee includes a discount token for the basement frituur (chip shop; 11am to 3pm) that immodestly claims to fry the world’s ultimate chips. More interesting is the arch-gabled 1399 building itself, first used by Genoese traders, then by local weavers.
