About the author

When I’m not dreaming of a world without borders, I’m designing learning experiences, teaching and writing about architecture, art and culture—and questioning the boundaries between disciplines, histories and ways of seeing. I’m an architect, writer and educator whose work is shaped by critical and interdisciplinary inquiry. I studied the history, theory and criticism of architecture at Columbia University. I’ve called Mumbai and New York home, lived in Libya as a toddler, and now live in Goa, where I write at a desk overlooking the ocean and run the literary arts publication Proseterity.
