Viewers of the reality show, The Bachelor, will get to see the Northern Territory in Australia in all its glory, as it makes its primetime debut in the finale episodes of the ABC show.
The Bachelor revolves around a single man who starts off the series with a pool of romantic interests. During the course of the season, he interacts with the women and presents a rose to each one that he wishes to remain on the show. Those who do not receive a rose are eliminated, and the programme culminates in a marriage proposal to the bachelor's final selection. The participants travel to romantic and exotic locations for their adventures, and the Northern Territory is hosting the two-part season finale on March 9 and 10, where this year's bachelor, Peter Weber, will choose his future wife.
The episodes will showcase the beauty of the Northern Territory’s majestic outback, the spiritual heart of Australia. It is known for its adventurous terrain and diverse climates, from the tropical Top End to the rich outback of the Red Centre, a region that is known for its expansive red desert and immersive Aboriginal cultural experiences. It's home to many must-see sights such as the world-famous sandstone monolith, Uluru, in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, and award-winning artist Bruce Munro’s light exhibition, “Field of Light Uluru,” which has just been indefinitely extended.
The Top End is the northern region of the Northern Territory, characterised by its tropical climate, diverse cuisine and many waterfalls and swimming holes. Viewers of the show will also see Alice Springs and the Tjoritja West MacDonnell National Park.
