Cheese-lovers in the UK will be drooling at the news that a specially-themed suite will be open to guests for a free one-night stay for one week only. The Cheese Suite will be situated in Camden in the heart of London, and it will have cheese-themed wallpaper, throws, cushions and bedding as well as giant cheese installations.

Guests can play classic board games while listening to songs from the specially-compiled cheesy playlist, and they can even shower in cheese-scented soap. They can enjoy the cheese and crackers provided, or avail of a hotline delivery service from French bistro restaurant, Café Rouge, which commissioned the suite to celebrate its new extra-cheesy menu, featuring dishes like its popular Cheese Afternoon Tea.

If the guests prefer to cater for themselves, cheese-themed cookbooks will provide inspiration. Information is also provided on the best cheese getaways and day trips for guests to take. The concept suite will take place in a Cuckooz apartment, which are apartments curated by independent designers to offer an authentic home away from home experience for travellers.

While it is free to stay at The Cheese Suite, guests will be able to donate, if they wish, to Café Rouge’s dedicated charity partner, the Prince’s Trust, upon checkout. “We wanted to give the nation somewhere new and exciting to be totally immersed in one of their favourite foods in none other than a cheese-themed hotel," says Jacqueline Fletcher, head of marketing at Café Rouge. "While also trying some of our winter dishes from the comfort of the sofa.”
