Ngan Gate

This beautiful gate, at the end of a bridge crossing the outer moat, is still used busily by pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The gate is inscribed with the Chinese chu nho characters 體仁門, which lends the gate it its other, more formal name "The Nan Mon."
