Cranberry Mountain Nature Center

West Virginia

The scat exhibit hanging on the wall is quite eye-catching, as are the live snakes inhabiting several terrarriums at this nature center in the southern end of the forest. The nature center has scientific information about the forest and the surrounding 750-acre bog ecosystem, the largest of its kind in the state.

Live snake shows held most Sundays at 1pm.
